FanSource.org has been proudly online for one year, previously known as one-breath. Recently taken over from Tom and now being ran by Kieran FanSource aims to bring you quality hosting for free.

There are currently users online and we have

To start on the simple journey to free web hosting with us first you take a look at our packages, to see what you will get. If you think that what we offer is for you, read through our rules and make sure you can agree to them. If that goes well, take a look at our rewards section where you will be rewarded for your website. Finally, if we seem like the hosting site for you go to the application section and apply to become one of the newest members of FanSource.org. In order to qualify for our free hosting service you must agree to follow our simple rules, failure to do so will result in account suspension until you agree to abide by them.
 

 We only host whole sites, we will not host a part of a site for example, a media achieve or gallery. However, if your site is on another server we will help you to change to us.
You must be able to update your website regularly, if you know that you are not fully dedicated or have the time to work on the site please do not apply.
It takes time and effort to set up hosting accounts just because they are free does not mean you should mess us around.

We are a family friendly network; we do not accept any forms of hate, discrimination or pornographic content. We ask that anything which may cause any of your visitor’s offence is not posted.
 

If your site is to go on hiatus, the site must be left open to view. When changing layouts you can close your website to do so, however, your website must not be closed for more than two days.
 

In order to help pay the bills all websites must display an advertising code on all pages; this must be placed on your website so that it is visible without scrolling. If you remove the ads or you change them so that they are used for your own profit your account will be immediately suspended. We do not aim to make profit from web hosting, but we must make enough to at least cover the initial costs.
 

Although this is optional, it is recommended that you back up your website, in the past FanSource has been prone to hard drive crashes. In rare cases the backups have also crashed leaving those without back ups devastated by the loss. If you cannot back up your site or you do not wish to, you can purchase a back up plan. This will entitle your website to be backed up at the end of the month on an external hard drive meaning that your website will be saved in three different places in the event of the hosting company’s back up disk crashing. You can also earn free back ups with our rewards plan.
 

If you intend to leave our hosting for another provider please let me know before you move. However, do not expect me to hold a redirect code to your new website for longer than four weeks.
 
All webmasters should obtain their content honestly, if you are found to be hosting illegal or stolen files we will act severely, all webmasters accept responsibility for their own websites and for those who they allow to work on it with them.
 
If a member of our network is stealing your content please contact us, the same goes for our members, if you find someone is stealing your content we will work together to get it removed or get you properly credited.
 
We treat hotlinking very seriously, we do not like it or like it being done to us. If someone is hotlinking you please contact us and the same goes for our members, if someone is hotlinking you please do get in contact with us so we can fix it. All images should be hosted on the site and should not be directly taken from any other.
 
Some sites do not allow media files, we think that they are an essential part to any website, however they must not break any laws and should be zipped if over 5 MB. You should also include un-zipping instructions on the pages too as some users may not be familiar with the technique.
 
If a site is found not to be following these rules we will act, depending on the type of rules you break we will usually suspend your account until we can come to an arrangement. Your site will never be deleted without any reason, we know how much time a website takes to maintain and so we hope to work with you instead of against you. We want the best for our users and their sites and so we welcome anyone to apply.
